What's my life in these days?

My Academic life, in these days, has been complicated and interesting at the same time, because this is the last half of my studies, and I have been learning a lot of things important. I love this matters, for example, I love studying topics as urban planning and environmental analysis. But, this situation has been very complicated, because our faculty was in strike for five months, and We have forgotten the importance of changing the actual educational system!
My personal Life seems to go very well, because I am very happy with the family that I Have and My Boyfriend. But, in these days, I have had a big preoccupation: my beloved pet “Becky” , a poodle dog, has been very ill. And this situation is saddest, because Becky has shared with my family and me, since I was a child. Indeed, in my free times I always play with Becky(my dog). Other things that I do in my free time (that now is very little) is play the guitar and sing different songs. I LOVE SINGING AND PLAYING THE GUITARR! Indeed I love the music in generally. Between my perspectives is to have a music band!
But the perspective most important for the last year has relation with my studies. In December of the next year, I will be receiving my academic qualification. But this isn’t the most important, the most important is to be happy with this!

My Neighbourhood

I have lived almost all my life in this neighbourhood, called Parque Alameda. This place is located on the corner of Las Rejas street and Ecuador street. In this intersection there are several shops and facilities,for example , on the corner of Las Rejas street and Ecuador street, there is a Big Supermarket “Lider”. This supermarket is opposite to the several Pharmacies and Banks. Also There are several Medical centers such as “Hospital del Profesor” and “Clínica Bicentenario”.
Other advantage: There are many opcions of Pubic Transport! My house is near to the Station Subway. I have never been in a Traffic Jam! Because there are enough traffic lights.
However I’d like to have more bikelanes. This is a Big Problem, because many people go to work cycling. Also is an option for descontaminate Santiago. My Neighbourdhood has a lot of pollution, because is near to Alameda, also in some places is so dirty because the trash!
I love living in my neighbourdhood, because this place is very quiet and safety, because here lives a lot of seniors! And I enjoy walking for the streets and in this place I have known many people important in my life.

Strikes and Sit- in for a public education

In these moments almost all the “Universidad de Chile” is in Strike or Sit-in. Two days later, I went to the Demonstration for the education of character “National Strike” , to this Demonstration , more than hundred thousand persons were present, only in Santiago, because to national level, they represented more than two hundred thousand persons.
This protest, had things very assessable, because there had students, teachers, families and workers, all for a public education.
The Architecture Faculty always is present by is students. We always appear with creative Banners, in this opportunity, we had a Dragoon and the big cartoons of the prominent figures who have sold the education such as: Piñera, Lavín, Frei and Pinochet. All that together with a carnival, called “candombe”.
I think that the mass media, show the worst face of the marches, and the one that less represents us, in the news appear hooded person destroying and forcing, but they never show really the cultural activities and pacific demonstrations or very rarely.
The manifestations are a part of the civic culture that we have to have, The duty to demonstrate what does not seem to us and to construct a better world, but I understand that many persons don’t assist because they are afraid to the special forces.
The special forces are very repressive, the people are afraid to the Armoured Car, Rubber Bullets ( indeed in my faculty the last year, the special forces threw Rubber Bullets to the students and various of some of them were injured, also they damage the faculty)
However, I think that is the moment of fight for obtain changes in our educational system.

The educational system

The Education is a fundamental right, and the history demonstrates this. In the last century many places of the world led these revolts that up to nowadays are made feel.
Some cases as Mexico, Paris, Praga, Pekín, and San Francisco, between another more, that despite of that this places are very far of the other one, the movements presented similar features. The reasons? Paul Lizcano, expert of the student revolts against Franc, believes that " in all these revolutions there are a few points jointly: the idealism and the inconformity of a university in which they have penetrated the ideas of the Marxism or of the liberalism, which is opposed to the gags of the system and which demands the revolution "
Evidently the movements of today are not the same thing, but the education continues having the same problems indeed In Chile, the education is synonymous of debt and this, because the Government doesn’t assure the education as a right and for this only they can study in the university those who can pay with some exceptions, Actually the problem is product of the educational system

, that is still bosses of the global economy.
This produces that the dissatisfaction of the students persists, because this big problem has not been solved in more of 40 years!
The education is a fundamental right that is necessary to defend!
In this moment the “Universidad de Chile” is PARALYZED and is necessary that all the students contribute their ideas and visions!

My favourites musical instruments

Hello my friends! Today I’m going to talk about musicals instruments
In the world there are a lot of musical instruments, because the culture it’s different and the music also. An instrument that I like is the guitar, this is a instrument of strinds, the most typical in the world, and also it is very easy to learn.
But I prefer the instruments of percussion, because the percussion has sounds more exotic , as the “Conga” typic instrument of Cuba, and their sounds depend of the techniques for play to this instrument. Indeed the “Congas”, it plays only with the hands and its surface is makes with animal skin.
Another instrument that I like its the metal soucer, some musical groups don’t play only in the battery, also they play the metal soucer with their hands, as the “Banda Conmoción”, here two woman play the metal soucer while they dance, this it makes in a “Carnaval” with the other instruments all of metal as “bombo”, “timbaletas” and instruments of wind, as the trumpet, sax and anothers.
Actually, I like more musical instruments, but only I know play the guitar and the bongo, although not perfectly.
I would like to learn to have the battery and to perfect me in guitar, indeed I want have a musical group and in this group I can play various instruments.

The best holiday

Hello to all!
I love the holiday, really the vacations are the better of the year. My favorites holidays have been various, but in the last years I’ve been a lot of beautiful places in Chile. In Enero of this year, I went with my boyfriend to the Chiloé Island, in the tenth region of “Los Lagos”, here we knew first “Castro” and we visited in a boat the “Palafitos” and in the night It was raining a lot! The Following day we went to Dalcahue and I ate for first time “Curanto” I love it! And my Boyfriend ate “Cordero”, also very delicious! Some days later, we went to “Cucao”, that is my favorite place, because Cucao is part of the National Park of Chiloé and the vegetation is very exotic, called Moderate rainy forest, with species of trees as “Arrayán”, “Tepa”, “Coigue”, “Ulmo”. But this place also I liked because is very romantic, I remember with my boyfriend that this night in Cucao, We did a bonfire and contemplated the stars reflected in the lake cucao it was really precious!
Later we knew another wonderful place that is called the islands of Puñuhil in Ancud, and we looked the penguins “magallánicos” and penguins of “Humboldt” and this day in Ancud also It was raining a lot and We walked five kilometers under the rain, however this vacations has been the best, specially for the company, the beautiful places and the adventures

Some stereotypes in Latin American

In Latin American are the different stereotypes, although we are many near, our personalities are very particular. A first stereotype that I can to identify is the Argentine arrogant and snnoby, but I must say that is only a impression on. The Argentines have a accent very particular, but the Argentines boys are very handsome.
To distinguish of the Argentines, The Brazilians are very happy and have a nice body, because they practice sport every day and they take a healthy life. They are good dancers of the zamba, because every years they dance in the Carnaval.
Other stereotype is their Mexicans, they have a very loud voice, and they sing sentimental songs , the mexican is recognized as a person with a strong character and this shown in the “Rancheras” that is very sentimental but very louds.
The Peruvians speak clearly and they’ve a good language, but They’re very tepid and talk quietly. The Bolivians are very similar to the Peruvians, but they don’t cook as the Peruvians that cook very delicious!
Exist various stereotypes more, indeed these are defined in my vision.
I think that this stereotypes are defined for differents grounds, such as the movies and the news that shows to different people of the different countries of one way or another. This don’t always true.
Is difficult to define a Chilean stereotype, because I’m Chilean. I think that we are very impunctual, because always we have all out time! Also, we are very impatient, always we’re borings of wait and we’re losting a patience, for this also, is that we are bad drivers. However, I believe that we are a good persons.

My favorites beaches

Is very difficult to choose my favorite beach, because Chile have a lot of beautiful beaches. One of my favorite beach is Punta de Choros, I visited this beach in 2010 with my friends Gricel, Esteban, Pedro, Javiera and Victoria. This place is located in the fourth region of Coquimbo. This beach I liked very much, because had a lot of biodiversity, animals and vegetation, such as “Penguins of Humboldt” and they swim every years to South of Chile (in summer) to beach of Ancud, where are the small island of “Puñuhuil”, here the penguins live. I had never gone, was in Enero to 2011 with my boyfriend Rodrigo, this time also We knew the Park National of Chiloé, in Cucao that is a beach, also, with a lot of biodiversity as the “Arrayán”, “Coigue” that has a branch very high. In this place, the river “Cucao” has its mouth in the beach . For this reason and many reasons more I liked all these beachs.
I don’t say how often I go to this places, because I went for first time the last year, however I would like to return to visit them.
Finally I would like say that my beaches favorite are always places with very biodiversity and very green, also are in relation with the people that came with me.

My first CD

I have been always a big music fan. Because in my family there are various musicians, indeed My uncle gave me my firtst CD. This was a CD of Fito Páez called “Euforia” since this moment that I love to Fito Páez. The CD Euforia was very good, because is a live recording in 1996. I had six years when it was the premiere. Barely they gave me , I liked it! And I still like it, always I listen to Fito Páez in the morning in the subway. Between my favourite tracks of this CD, they are “Mariposa Tecknicolor” always that listen this song I feel happiness, because I remember my infancy, another song that I like is “Por siete vidas” for the drums.Fito Paez I like me because his lyrics are very poetic and his music is very melodyc . Almost is a music that plays the piano very naturally.
I bought some CD’s, as another of Fito Páez , and of some CD chilean groups.
Now, I don’t buy much music, because there are many softwares to download music and is more easy get all tracks of different groups. However, this isn’t the same that look up the lyrics in the CD, and enjoy with the pictures of the artists.

My (WT) favorite travel and trip was in the summer of this year. I went to Fresia and San Juan de la Costa, in the south of Chile. This place has very (WW)beautifull landscape, and the people (WT) is very nice, in (WW)compared to santiago`s people.

In this trip I (WT) go with my family,my uncles and my cousins. I went for my vacations, during February. There I (WT) ride a horse in mountains and beach, nobody were there, only Pumas and other animals. Also I Took a lot pictures of the landscape, and ate very much (like (WW)cordero).

The most (WW)i liked and interesting (NN)a of this place is the far away compared to (WW) tipical distance in the cotidianity on (WW) citys, like (WW)Santiagop, where all services and other (WW)caracteristics are near of ours.

The social and cultural characteristics I liked, was how the people of "Llico bajo" (Fresia)to (WT)teached a bullock wood bring.

Also in this trip I swan in the river and in the beach, "Puelo" and Pucatrihue (WW)respectuvely. Besides I to pick up stone of the beach, was "agatas".

My favorites field trip

Along the career of Geography, We've had at many field trip. I remember that the first year, was very short and near of Santiago, because in the last year We began to have trip more long, in my second year, I have my best field trip, the subject it was for the field of Geography Cultural, we went to “Huasco Alto” in Atacama’s third region, although the field doesn’t my favorite, the place was wonderful. Here still they live communities “Diaguitas” and are important part of our cultural heritage. The weather was very banker, in the morning was cold and in the evening was hot. In this trip, we made a job very important, applying an ethnographic methodology and we learnt much with the people. In this time the communities Diaguitas had the problem of Pascua Lama, because the water of the river “Huasco” would be affected for the miners, and for this the agriculture.
Another field trip that I liked, was the last year when we went to “San Clemente” in the VII region. This field trip, was very special because the place it’s very beautiful and mystic… here they realize tourism “Ufologic”, indeed various companions of class were afraid!.

The social networks tools

The social network are today a very important tool for the communications among the people around the world. The globalization from his beginnings has created a global network and a global flow

My first social network tool was "fotolog" when i had fifteen years old, between my nicknames : "au_revoir","sensations_attack","catarocio". This social network I liked, but  Facebook is a tool much more complete.  Indeed Facebook is my favorite social network tool, because it’s got applications, pictures, music.

Facebook it has helped me contact old friends!

Now, I would like to learn to occupy some social network more tied to the music to be able to comment on musical groups and recommend music and that also recommend to me music to me.

But yes! I have to admit that  I use facebook every days! Sometimes I  don’t have nothing to do and I’m hours and hours looking pictures of various friends or pictures old and Finally I don’t study!

I believe that the social networks are very important today, for example the principal events or birthdays are organized across to Facebook, because is a form rapid and easy for communicate important things.

Finally I want say that Social Network are important in my day after day, for various things as  to amuse myself, to plan events or to contact persons.

In my life, I went to various  important concerts , because i love the live music.  

Happily most of my favourites groups are Latin American,  in deed  last year  in December i went to the concert "El Abrazo Chile-Argentina" in the park O'higgins, and lasted all day .  In this concert are sang artist as "Fito Páez", "Andrés Calamaro","Charly García " that singed while it was raining, "Spinetta" and  chilean singers as "Chancho en Piedra", "Los Jaivas" and “ Jorge Gonzalez”. This day were very special, because the climate were very particular: very hot in the morning and rain in the night.

In the  last summer I went to various concerts in the “Galpón Victor Jara” this place has a little capacity of people, but is amazing and very funny, because the music represent the Chilean culture. I went always along the year with my friends and my boyfriend. Here, I listened to “Chico Trujillo”, “Villa Cariño”, “Juana fé”, “Vasti Michel” and “Banda Conmoción”

Also, I remember the concert of  the radio “Rock and Pop” that celebrated their  birthday in the “SCD SALA”  in Bellavista. I went with my boyfriend in December.   In this party  they sung “Manuel García”, “Chinoy”, “Tizana”, “Camila Moreno”, “Juana Fé” and  “Chancho en Piedra”

My favorite movie is "Trainspotting" is a scottish film, directed by Danny Boyle in 1996. This film shows the history of a group of friends cocaine addicts in Edimburgo, were a principal character is Mark Renton.
The other characters are:
- Diane
-Sick Boy
- Spud
- Tommy

Mark Renton have a particular philosophy of life: don't not choose a particular philosophy of life.  The problems of contemporary society are reflected in this movie.
Along of the movie, Mark Renton meets a girl that makes change a better person and rehab.
I love this film! The reasons?  There are many reasons, for example, I like the soundtracks, for example songs such as "Perfect Day" of Lou Reed , "Atomic" of Blondie, "Underworld" of Born Slippy ans " Temptation" of Heaven 17 ; because are reflected the situations by means of the songs.
Another reason is the personal discourse to the beggining of the film:

"Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers.
